Bics are waved when justified and I've waved many. Bic waving was around way before hair bands ever came along. I loved eighties, too, but just had different taste than you and probably a lot of people. It's all good.

All I don't like by Journey is "Lovin' Touchin' Squeezin'". I can only hear "Na na na na" for so long.

When Amberosia and I drove to Canada last spring, we heard that song at least 8 times. There was one point where I said "hey, I wonder if Lovin' Touchin' Squeezin' is on?" and turned on the radio just as it was coming on. I think we timed the "na na na" part as going on for 2 and a half minutes.

I don't like most pop, heavy metal, or country music, and I absolutely DESPISE Christmas music, with the exception of three songs:  Here We Go A-Wassailing, Blue by Joni Mitchell, and a song called Don't Forget About Christmas, sung and recorded by one of my good friends from Bishop's.

My daughter is very into Ska and although I don't hate it, it all sounds pretty much the same to me!

Most rap since 1998 (someone *please* kill Jay Sean before I have a coronary)

Some modern country

Most alternative (harder edged) since 1992

Any artist (any genre) who I feel is a sellout (and win truckloads of Grammys or AMAs or PCAs)

Xmas music November-December

Yeah, who wants to hear Christmas music in November and December.

July and August is the time for Jingle Bells!

Re: Music you don't like

Christmas music in November! Ugh! We have a holiday music station through our cable service, and it plays Christmas music immediately after Halloween!. Whatever happened to the Macy's Parade ushering in the shopping season? Our local Target is already doing Christmas!

I like Hey Jude. The "na na na's" are nicely melodic, unlike in Lovin' Touchin' Squeezin' where it sounds like they forgot the rest of the song. Na Na Hey Hey Goodbye works the same way.
