General Mills Breakfast Squares
Keebler Chachos & Pizzarias
All Sport - orange flavor
Jello Pudding Pops
Sun Country Wine Coolers - cherry flavor
Priazzo at Pizza Hut
Godfather's Pizza
Chicken Littles at Kentucky Fried Chicken
Bell Beefer at Taco Bell
Flicks by Ghiradelli only available at movie theaters - a company is making them again now in a "plastic" container but they don't taste the same to me.
Chocolate Chip Pop Tarts - the ones they made in the 70's. A really light colored crust with large chunks of granulated sugar on top
Tortellini with ham, peas and mushrooms in an alfredo sauce at Olive Garden
Snackin Cake
Monterey Ranch Chicken Sandwich at Wendy's
Pepperidge Farm Blueberry turnovers
Sara Lee Pudding in the Middle Cake
Banquet boil in a bag Cream of Chicken
Banquet boil in a bag single patty of Salisbury Steak
Crazy Cow cereal
Swanson meatloaf tv dinners
Taco Flavored Tostitos - NOT DORITOS!
Tortellini Salad at Boston Market
Wheat thins 5-Grain Crunch - not to be confused with the Fiber Select 5-grain
The ORIGINAL chicken sandwich at McDonalds - in the 70's. It was nasty and rubbery like their McNuggets and had lettuce on it that was shredded and soggy - but oh man, I loved them back then!
The REAL "Original Recipe" chicken at Kentucky Fried Chicken. I don't know what the hell that &*!# is they are serving today as Original Recipe but it is NOT THE SAME!
Prawns at Black Angus - Back in the early 90's when my not yet husband and I were dating we would go to Black Angus because we liked the booths they had with the really high backs - gave us lots of privacy. We also loved their Long Island Ice Teas. My husband actually proposed to me at Black Angus. Anyway - the Prawns. I always got them. They were large and delicious. A few years after we were married we went back and I ordered my usual. At first glance it looked the same - but the prawns were butterflied. So in essence I was getting half the food I used to get but they made it look like I was still getting the same number of Prawns - at first glance anyway. Disappointing but oh well. BUT WAIT, they left the shells on the prawns. It was totally impossible to get the shell off the prawn after it was cut in half. I was so furious I threw one of the prawns across the table. My husband asked the waitress about their new style of presentation. She was quite rude to us so he then asked her to TRY and remove the shell off one of my prawns herself. Incredibly she attempted it and could not get the shell off. I was eventually served an order of prawns sans shells and not cut in half - complete with saliva and/or urine too I am sure. Last visit to Black Angus.

Me too. There used to be a product on the market called Milkrunch Bars, and they were made of Frosted Flakes and milk. They came in two flavours--regular Frosted Flakes and Cocoa Frosted Flakes--but then they disappeared suddenly, which is really unfortunate, because I loved them. |

Kellogg's All-Bran cereal w/Extra Fiber. I enjoyed the taste, but it's no longer sold at the local Hy-Vee supermarkets in West Des Moines, Iowa. For that matter, it's no longer mentioned on Kellogg's website.
It had the fewest calories per serving. You have to wonder if the so-called obesity crisis is a joke if cereals with as few calories and as little fat as Kellogg's All-Bran with Extra Fiber are not available nowadays. |

What about their orange sugar cookies? I have searched in vain for those for years. Now, thanks to your post, at least I know I can stop looking. Sadly..! _________________ Matthew Wayne Selznick

Hormel Frank N Stuff Chili Hot Dogs
Hi-C Ecto Cooler
I'm sure there's alot more. The running gag in my house is if we really find something we like we say we need to stock up because they will stop making it any moment. _________________ People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. Nobody remembers Kissle except for my grandmother who made sure to always have some on hand for me. Anyone here remember it? view
I remember Kissle! I loved that when I was a kid! I miss baked ranch Tostitos and I can't find lemonade Gatorade anymore either. |

Hey, don't give up hope. Mother's Cookies are BACK! (At least they are if you live in Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas, Utah or Washington.) Mmm...Circus Animals with sprinkles. |

Whuzzat?? I do live in California... I've seen the Mother's brand in stores, but I had heard (in this thread!) that the original brand is dead and this incarnation is a new company that appropriated the name.
I'll look closer next time we go grocery shopping... if I see those fabled orange-flavored sugar cookies, I'll give 'em a shot!

Lea and Perrins Barbecue Sauce. I LOVED this sauce and would eat it on almost anything grilled...but it was discontinued in Canada around '97, '98. I've since switched to Bullseye and it sort of tastes like L&P...but it isn't the same...
I also miss Bonkers fruit chews. Remember those commercials with the old lady getting crushed by Bonkers candy? I loved those things. _________________ "Every heartbeat is a soundtrack to your life" ~ Kylie Minogue |
