Taste like rootbeer), Ricolas, Smith Bros, F&Fs, Fruit Breezers and the chewy Pine Bros. ones, as well as the ones in Walgreens that taste like Dad's (a brand) Root Beer and orange Crush, could very easily fit into the candy department. Hall's, Vicks, and Sucrets, on the other hand -- definitely medication What do you think? Discuss

I loved the Wild Cherry and the Honey Lemon flavors! Yummy!

Going along with the "discontinued foods thread below", my favourite flavour was Black Currant Halls...and I haven't seen that flavour in years. But, I do like the Lemon-Lime Halls with echinacea and vitamin C. I know when I was in elementary school, kids would always sneak Halls in on fluoride rinse days to suck on, so that it would make the rinse more palatable. That was a challenge for a while, but eventually, I still remember that name.

The most medicine-y are definitely Cepacol and Fisherman's Friend. Both are probably the most effective at soothing a sore throat, but I wouldn't recommend either if you're feeling nauseous (esp. not the Cepacol ones, the flavour is just stomach-turning!).

My poor little tummy just can't tolerate them!

Still, I suspect their 'medicinal' properties are more along the lines of just giving you something to suck on to lubricate your throat than anything else.
