New traffic = new people, and new people potentially equals new members of the community... some of whom will post topics here in Retrotalk. If you're reading the blog, you'll notice most of the posts are shout-outs to stuff other retro-centric people and websites around the Internet have posted. When we post something inspired by someone else and give them credit, it creates a relationship between Retroland and that other site or other blogger. That leads to cross-pollination, if you will, and helps both sides grow. So... if you want to have more active forums, one of the ways that's going to happen is through the blog bringing new attention to Retroland.com -- the whole site, not just Retrotalk. When we found this place (RL) again, I can't even begin to tell the what the feeling it was, all I can say was that alot of people were really happy. Obviously it's not what it once was to quite a few members that were original members of YL, I guess you can say it's like taking away a favorite toy from one of your kids. In my own opinion, things just aren't the way they were before, maybe we're being selfish but thats just the way it feels.
