Yes, that's it. I have the first 3 volumes. This is the reason I grew up on 50s/60s music as a kid instead of the top 40. |

I owned one...it had both "Wildfire" and "We're All Alone". _________________ "I can do all things through CHRIST, Who strengthens me."

Hi everyone,
As a small part of a Mother's Day present to my mom, I'm compiling the Shell Cruisin' Classics series on CD and was wondering if anyone had high-quality scans of the tape jackets of the of each of the six volumes of Cruisin' classics.
I would like to make covers/inlays for each of the compulations? Has anyone posted them or can email them to me |

I had a few of them. Not a bad collection of songs, however some of the songs were edited or shortened...mainly "American Pie"....it fades out halfway through the song. _________________

That was probably taken from the 45 rpm single. It was broken up about halfway through, with part 2 as the flip side. I think sometimes radio stations would play just the first half also ... 7 minutes was a long time on top 40 radio. _________________ "Life moves pretty fast.
